Jonathan Mark Witt Holder, better known as Marcos Witt 
was born on May 19/1962 in San Antonio, Texas, United States is a singer, songwriter of Christian music and American pastor. From 2002 to 2012, Witt was pastor at Lakewood Church (neo-evangelical cut) leading with his wife Miriam Witt.

Witt has come to also stand out as one of the most famous Christian singers in the music scene of the Hispanic or Latino Christian community, and is a proponent of contemporary theology of prosperity.

Jonathan Mark Witt Holder is the second of eight children born to Jerry and Nola Witt Holder, young American missionaries who in that same year of 1962 moved to Durango, Mexico where missionary work began. The same, having been unfinished soon due to the tragic death of his father Jerry Witt, continues today being cared for by his mother Nola Holder. His father, Jerry Witt, died when Mark turned 2 years old.

His mother, Nola Holder, remarried years later with Francisco Warren, an American missionary who continued the missionary vision of her late husband. He stayed in Durango to establish and develop new congregations and to accompany Nola. Lorraine and Warren Holder Nolita born years after this second marriage.

Francisco was Warren who assumed the role of adoptive father and instilled in the small Marcos lifestyle of Christianity. Young, Mark was appointed as minister and musical leader in a Christian congregation of San Antonio and after basic studies at the American School of Durango, Mexico, studied music at the Juárez University of Durango. In parallel he began studying theology at the Institute Bible College in San Antonio, Texas. Then he advanced his musical and ministerial training at the University of Nebraska and a private conservatory.

In 1986 he married Miriam Lee Canadian (1963- n.), With whom he has four children: Elena Jannette (1987), Jonathan David (1990), Kristofer Marcos (1991) and Carlos Franklin (1994). In 2014 he had an accident that left him speechless for 6 months. Concert in February 2015 Chaco said he had recovered and was thank God. He said God is still God and always presented his latest album currently "Still Being God".
